Volunteer Mid-South will honor the area’s top volunteers at the 34th annual Spirit of Giving Awards Volunteer Recognition Luncheon, Thursday, April 29th in the Ballroom of The Holiday Inn, University of Memphis. Guests and honorees will gather to salute volunteers who answer the call of service and exemplify the true Spirit of Giving in the Mid-South.
Nomination forms are available at www.volunteermidsouth.org. We invite community members and non-profit agencies to nominate outstanding volunteers dedicated to serving our community.
Winners for Spirit of Giving Awards in the adult, large group, small group, senior citizen, board member, and youth categories will be announced at the luncheon. Special awards are also presented to the winners in outstanding volunteer program category, recognizing their efforts on behalf of the non-profit community. First Place winners receive a $500 check for the non-profit agency served, except for the First Place Youth winner, who receives a $250 U.S. Savings Bond and a $250 check for the non-profit agency served.
