The talk of the town is the 2010 Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Promise Ball presented by the Elvis Presley® Charitable Foundation! Jack Soden, CEO of Elvis Presley® Enterprises, is the Honorary Chairman for the Promise Ball to be held at the Peabody Hotel on Saturday, April 10, 2010. Mr. Soden and Elvis Presley® Enterprises are helping us keep the promise to all the children and adults who suffer from type 1 diabetes. Since 1970, the mission of JDRF has been to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications through the support of research. In 2010 we’re still ‘taking care of business’ as we keep the promise!
On April 10, step back into the 1970’s with a psychedelic silent auction while enjoying decadent passed hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beverages from the bar. Be entertained in our action-packed Live Auction while devouring a far out menu prepared by The Peabody chef to include a duo entrée meal. Items being auctioned throughout the evening include a Gibson Dove Guitar autographed by 3 generations of Presleys, an original painting by world renowned artist, Joe Petruccio, private dinner parties including Erling Jensen, fly fishing and hunting trips, getaways and shopping sprees, jewelry by Mednikow and much more. Boogie the night away with live entertainment by Party Planet and a special celebrity guest appearance by Andy Childs.
