The First Victorian Yuletide Gala!
Woodruff-Fontaine House Museum invites you to celebrate the first Victorian Yuletide Gala.
Proceeds from the gala and silent auction will be used in the preservation and restoration of
the extensive Victorian clothing collection of the museum.
Come enjoy food, wine, entertainment, tours and silent auction in grand Victorian style.

True Story Pictures and The Recording Academy, Memphis Chapter is launching “The Music Interviews”
True Story Pictures and The Recording Academy, Memphis Chapter is launching “The Music Interviews” featuring Jim Dickinson, Marguerite Piazza and Sid Selvidge 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 10that the Memphis College of Art, 1930 Poplar Ave. This event will include a wine tasting with paired foods in the main gallery, and a screening of three short documentaries in the Callicott Auditorium. Tickets are available at the door for $20 per person or $35 for two or online at www.truestorypictures.org. For more information, call (901) 274-9092.

The organization recognizes the documentary as both an art form and a community-building agent. Make it "Count" for Kroc!
Individuals can enjoy a wonderful evening listening to the jazzy tunes of Count Basie while supporting the Kroc Center at the same time. Count Basie was a celebrated American jazz bandleader, composer and pianist whose band played with Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington, among others. He is most well known for writing and performing a jazz standard, ʺOne OʹClock Jump."
Memphis Drum Shop hosts an annual concert event to help bring awareness, as well as music, to the public. "We want to support the Kroc Center in their efforts to bring the community together," said Jim Pettit, owner of Memphis Drum Shop. "We know Make it Count for Kroc will be an amazing evening where people who like jazz can show their support for this terrific organization."
When: Friday, Dec. 4 · Wine and Cheese Reception at 6:15 p.m., concert starts at 7:00 p.m.

A Canine Christmas
“A Canine Christmas” is Saturday, December 12th, from Noon to 3PM on the front lawn of St Agnes School, 4830 Walnut Grove Rd.
The event includes: Santa Photos, Canine Christmas Market & the Grand Christmas Parade at 2:30.
The Canine Christmas Market Area will include: Doggie Acupuncture, a Mobile Vet, b. Dog Taxi Driver, Dog Portrait Painters & other Art for Dogs, Doggie Cookie Baker, Doggie Day Care & Boarding Facilities, Dog Trainer, & Dog Rescue Group w/ Adoption Candidates.
Event to benefit “Good Dog Rescue” (takes dogs on death row at local shelters & fosters until they can arrange adoptions)...other dog rescue groups will have booths, as well….this is the second annual edition of this event.
