Hands of Hope Auction Party

The Exchange Club Family Center, a Midtown non-profit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse, today announced its annual “Hands of Hope” Auction Party is set for Saturday, March 27 at Minglewood Hall. The event will kick off at 7 p.m. and will include a silent and live auction, live music provided by the Bo-Keys, dancing, gourmet food stations, cash bar and a coffee-liqueur bar. The Auction Party is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year.

Individual tickets are $75, while couples’ tickets are available for $125. For tickets or additional information, contact Karen Ratcliff (karen.ratcliff@exchangeclub.net) or by calling the Center at 901-276-2200.

“This is our largest annual fundraiser and helps to support the valuable programs we offer throughout the year,” said Barbara King, executive director for The Exchange Club Family Center. “We have a great roster of sponsors, auction items and live entertainment on tap for this year’s event and we couldn’t be more excited by the venue change to Minglewood Hall.”

The mission of The Exchange Club Family Center is to provide quality intervention, counseling and support services to those families in the Memphis community who are experiencing the tragedies of family violence or child abuse. The Center was opened locally in 1984 with one class and a staff of three. It has since expanded to twenty-one programs and 35 staff members. Last year, more than 5,000 clients and family members were served.
