Playhouse on the Square 33rd Annual Original Art Auction

Silent Auction – All Day

Playhouse on the Square’s 33rd Annual Original Art Auction will take place on Saturday, April 17th. With over 160 artists contributing one-of-a-kind pieces for a live and silent auction, the pARTy of the year will be at Playhouse on the Square. Auctioneers Gene Katz, Mike McLaren, and Michael Detroit help to create a party atmosphere for everyone from the serious art buyer to the auction novice. Admission is $25, which will be deducted from the purchase price of art, and hors d’oeuvres and beverages are complimentary. Artsy hors d’oeuvres are being provided by Wade & Company, and beverages are provided by Southwestern Distributing.

The Silent Auction will be all day beginning at 10:00am. The Live Auction will begin at 6:30pm with a special appearance by the cast of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris. For more information, please call 901-725-0766.

There will be a special Art Preview Reception Wednesday, April 14 from 5:00-7:00pm. Take advantage of this opportunity to come in and preview the art early.

Reed, Dolph Smith, Terry Twyman, Mahaffey White, and more than 100 other local artists.
