Thursday August 20, at Noon: Jimmy Ogle will give a presentation on “Street & Bridges” of Memphis. How streets were formed, named, named for whom, re-named and the quirks of some streets such as “Much Maligned Monroe Avenue”; Downtown alleys and the four bridges that span the Mississippi River. And the final word on the naming of Union Avenue!
