2nd Annual Greek Wine, Beer and Food at Tasting Set for April 7

Patrons can enjoy a preview of one of the Mid-South’s favorite community food events while sampling Greek wines and beers at the second annual event set for April 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Ciao Bella restaurant. Guests can taste assorted Greek appetizers including spanakopeta (spinach stuffed puff pastry) and Greek pizzas. Greek wines from Kouros, Boutari and Lolonis Vineyards along with Greek beer will be featured.

“These wines are the hidden jewels of the wine world,” said Nick Kourvelas, Chairman of the 51st Annual Memphis Greek Festival. “They are consistently given excellent ratings -- 85 points and higher -- by Wine Spectator magazine. Plus, they taste wonderful.”

The price per person is $15, and proceeds from the event benefit the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Reservations are required and may be made by calling Ciao Bella at 901.684.6086. More information about 2nd Annual Greek Wine, Beer and Food at Tasting is available online at memphisgreekfestival.com or by calling Ciao Bella at 901.684.6086.
