Art on Tap returns to the Dixon on Friday, September 10 from 6 – 9 pm. The 15th annual event celebrates the art and craft of beer and brewing and will present unlimited tastings of imported, specialty and domestic beers, food from area restaurants, museum admission and live music in an all-inclusive ticket. Art on Tap 2010 is proud to feature several local breweries and brew clubs: Boscos Brewery, Ghost River Brewing, and Bluff City Brewers & Connoisseurs. Proceeds from the event benefit the Dixon’s education outreach programs like Art-to-Grow, which reaches over 20,000 Memphis area students each year.
New this year is Boscos Brewery’s special Dixon brew, Biere de Garde(n), created especially for the 15th Annual Art on Tap. This farmhouse style beer, traditionally brewed in Nord Pas-de-Calais, is a refreshing and flavorful addition to the repertoire of beers from Bluff City Brewers and Connoisseurs, Ghost River Brewing, A.S. Barbaro and Budweiser Memphis. Boscos will also present beer and cheese pairings, with brew master Chuck Skypeck on hand to explain the art of pairing beer with food. Live music from Mean Green Music Machine completes the party.
BEERS AND BREWERIES: Bluff City Brewers and Connoisseurs, Ghost River Brewing, Boscos Brewery, Dos Equis, Heineken, Miller Lite, Coors Light, and Budweiser with a large selection of imports and specialty beers to be announced
FOOD: Jim ’N Nicks Bar-B-Q, L’Ecole Culinaire, Pa Pa Pia’s Italian Restaurant, Aldo’s Pizza and McAlister’s Deli
